Asian Art Association Presents Third Annual Indian Classical Music And Dance

The Third Annual performance of the classical music and dance tradition of India featuring Denver based master vocalist and instructor Joginder Singh Virdi, tabla player Nabin Shrestha, vocalist Kishor Gala, harmonium player Wali Aryan, joined this year by Bharathanatyam dancers Azelia Pradhan and Angela Abraham from the Abhinaya School of Dance. Virdiji will be singing an afternoon raga. Ms Pradhan and Ms. Abraham will perform "Ananda Nadanam aadinal Shakti", the joyful dance of the goddess Parvati whose celestial dance to the five elements (air, water, fire, earth and space) vibrates the universe. Educational introductions graciously supplied by Dr. Meena Desai and choreographer Usha Muralidharan. Reservations required: Prepayment requested. Seating is limited. Reserve today!
